And the Angel of Jehovah came and sat under the oak which is in Ophrah, which belonged to Joash the Abiezrite. And his son Gideon was beating out wheat in the winepress, to hide it from the eyes of Midian.

And he said to them, What have I done now in comparison to you? Are not the gleanings of Ephraim better than the vintage of Abiezer?

And the Spirit of Jehovah will be powerful on you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be turned to another man.

And the Spirit of God came powerfully on Saul when he heard these words, and his anger glowed greatly.

And Jonathan struck the garrison of the Philistines in Geba. And the Philistines heard. And Saul blew with the rams’ horn throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear.

And the Spirit of Jehovah departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from Jehovah terrified him.
