And it happened, when he had come, he blew on the horn in the hills of Ephraim. And the sons of Israel came down with him from the hills, and he before them.
And the woman came to all the people in her wisdom. And they cut off the head of Sheba the son of Bichri and threw it to Joab. And he blew the rams’ horn, and they were dispersed from the city, each man to his tents. And Joab went back to Jerusalem to the king.
And I saw. And I rose up and said to the nobles and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, who is great and terrible, and fight for your brothers, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses.
And Joshua said to them, If you are a numerous people, go up to the forest for yourself, and you shall cut down for yourself there in the land of the Perizzite, and of the giants, if Mount Ephraim is too narrow for you.
because the hill is yours; because it is a forest, you shall cut it down, and its outer limits shall be yours; for you shall dispossess the Canaanite, even though it has chariots of iron; even though it is strong.
And after Abimelech, Tola the son of Puah, the son of Dodo, a man of Issachar, rose up to save Israel. And he lived in Shamir, in the hills of Ephraim.
