And also all that generation was gathered to their fathers, and another generation arose after them who had not known Jehovah, and not yet the works which He had done for Israel.

He judged the cause of the poor and needy one, then it was well. Was this not to know Me, a statement of Jehovah?

Oh, that I had a lodging place for my journeying in the wilderness, that I might leave my people and go away from them! For they all are committing adultery, an assembly of ones acting deceitfully.

And they bend their tongues, their bow is a lie. And they are not mighty for the truth on the earth, for they go from evil to evil; And they do not know Me, a statement of Jehovah.

And everyone will deceive his neighbor, and they will not speak the truth. They have taught their tongue to speak lies. They weary themselves to commit iniquity.

And when you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people as your brother Aaron was gathered.

And last of all the woman also died.

They profess to know God, but by their works they deny Him, being abominable and disobedient, and to every good work disapproved.

And Israel served Jehovah all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders whose days were prolonged after Joshua, and who knew all the work of Jehovah which He did to Israel.

And the sons of Eli were sons of worthlessness; they did not know Jehovah.
