King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

When I saw among the spoil a goodly robe of Shinar, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold, one of fifty shekels in weight, then I coveted them, and took them. And behold, they are hidden in the earth, in the middle of my tent, and the silver under it.

And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that to the eyes it was to be desired, and the tree was desirable to make one wise. And she took of its fruit and ate; and she also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.

I made a covenant with my eyes, and how could I look intently on a virgin?

Turn my eyes from seeing vanity; in Your way give me life.

You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male slave, or his slave-girl, or his ox, or his ass, or anything which belongs to your neighbor.

So are the ways of everyone who gains unjust gain; it takes away its owner’s soul.

Do not look at the wine when it is red, when it gives its sparkle in the cup, when it goes down smoothly,

A man with an evil eye is anxious for wealth, but he does not know that poverty will come on him.

Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life.

Because you have said, We have cut a covenant with death; and, We have made a vision with Sheol, when the overwhelming scourge passes through it will not come to us, for we have made the lie our refuge, and we have hidden in falsehood.

Woe to those who go to hide deeply their counsel from Jehovah! Yea, their works are in the dark; and they say, Who sees us? And, Who knows us?

Woe to him gaining evil gain for his house, to set his nest in the height, to be snatched from the palm of evil!

And He said to them, Beware, and be on guard from covetousness; for one’s life is not in the abundance of the things belonging of him.

But there is nothing which has been completely concealed which will not be uncovered, nor hidden which will not be known.

But let not fornication, and all uncleanness, or greediness, be named among you, as is fitting for saints;

For be knowing this, that every fornicator, or unclean one, or covetous one, who is an idolater, has no inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

You shall burn the carved images of their gods with fire; and you shall not covet the silver and gold on them, and not shall you take it to yourself, that you not be snared by it; for it is a disgusting thing to Jehovah.

Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion; bad lust, and covetousness, which is idolatry;

Set your way of life without moneyloving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, “Not I will leave you, not ever! Nor I will not forsake you, not ever!” Deut. 31:6

Then, having conceived, lust brings forth sin. And sin being fully formed brings forth death.

And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Truly I have sinned against Jehovah, the God of Israel, and this I have done:

And Joshua sent messengers, and they ran to the tent; and behold, it was hidden in his tent, and the silver under it.

forsaking the straight way, they went astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Beor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness,
