And Joshua said to Achan, My son, now give glory to Jehovah, the God of Israel, and give thanks to Him, and please tell me what you have done. Do not hide it from me.

One covering his transgressions will not prosper, but the one confessing and forsaking them shall have pity.

And men were burned with great heat. And they blasphemed the name of God, the One having authority over these plagues, and they did not repent to give Him glory.

For the wrath of man does not fully work the righteousness of God.

aged men to be temperate, honorable, sensible, sound in faith, in love, in patience;

in meekness instructing the ones opposing, if perhaps God may give them repentance for a full knowledge of the truth,

For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth one confesses unto salvation.

Were not any found returning to give glory to God except this foreigner?

I will make a man more rare than fine gold, and a man more than the pure gold of Ophir.

For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me.

And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Truly I have sinned against Jehovah, the God of Israel, and this I have done:

And he said, What did they see in your house? And Hezekiah said, They saw all that is in my house; there was not a thing that I did not make them see among my treasures.
