Joshua 3:4

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Only, keep a distance between you and it, about two thousand cubits by measure. You shall not come near it, so that you may know the way in which you are to go. For you have not crossed over this way yesterday and the day before.

And Jacob saw the face of Laban, and, behold, it was not toward him as before.

Even yesterday and three days ago, even when Saul was king, you were he that led out and brought in Israel. And Jehovah your God said to you, You shall feed My people Israel, and you shall be ruler over My people Israel.

Who is this, the man fearing Jehovah? He teaches him the way he should choose.

God is greatly to be seen as awesome in the counsel of the holy ones, and to be feared by all round about Him.

And you shall set limits to the people all around, saying, Be careful for yourselves, not going up into the mountain and touching its border; everyone touching the mountain dying shall die.

And He said, Do not come near here. Pull off your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.

And Moses said to Jehovah, O Lord, I am not a man of words, either from yesterday or the third day, or since You have been speaking to Your bondslave. For I am heavy of mouth and heavy of tongue.

For Topheth is ordained from yesterday. Also, it is prepared for the king; He deepened; He widened its pyre; He makes great with fire and wood. The breath of Jehovah burns in it like a torrent of brimstone.

So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah your God, teaching you to profit, leading you in the way you should go.

And they charged the people, saying, When you see the ark of the covenant of Jehovah your God, and the priests, and the Levites bearing it, even you shall pull up stakes from your place and shall go after it.

And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow Jehovah will do wonders among you.
