And Jehovah said to Cain, Why have you burned, and why has your face fallen?

And Ahab came into his house sullen and angry over the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken. For he had said, I will not give the inheritance of my fathers to you. And he lay on his bed and turned away his face, and would not eat food.

For beware wrath, that He not incite you to mockery; then a great ransom cannot turn you aside.

But it was a great calamity in the eye of Jonah, and it kindled anger for him.

And now, O Jehovah, please take my life from me. For better is my death than my life.

And Jonah went out from the city and sat on the east of the city. And he made there a booth for himself and sat under it in the shade until he should see what would happen in the city.

And God said to Jonah, Is it right your being angry and being pleasing for you over the plant? And he said, Being angry and being pleasing is right for me, even to death.

My people, what have I done to you? And how have I made you weary? Answer against Me.

Aaron shall be gathered to his people, for he shall not go into the land which I have given to the sons of Israel, because you rebelled against My mouth at the Waters of Strife.

Or is it not lawful for me to do what I desire with my things? Or is your eye evil because I am good?
