And Moses stretched out his staff over the land of Egypt. And Jehovah drove an east wind on the land all that day and all that night. And when it was morning the east wind lifted up the locusts.
And Jehovah changed to a west wind, very strong. And it carried the locusts and threw them into the Sea of Reeds. Not one locust was left in all the territory of Egypt. And Jehovah made strong the heart of Pharaoh, and he did not send away the sons of Israel.
And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and Jehovah caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all night. And He made the sea dry land, and the waters divided.
When He gives His voice, a multitude of waters is in the heavens, and He causes the mists to go up from the end of the earth. He makes lightnings for rain, and brings forth the wind out of His treasuries.
For, behold, He who forms mountains and creates the wind and declares to man what His thought is, He who makes the dawn darkness, and treads on the high places of the earth; Jehovah, the God of Hosts, is His name.
And a wind went forth from Jehovah and cut off quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as a day’s journey here, and as a day’s journey there, all around the camp, and about two cubits above the face of the land.
