And after these things, Joseph, the one from Arimathea, being a disciple of Jesus, but having been hidden because of fear of the Jews, asked Pilate that he might take the body of Jesus. And Pilate gave permission. Then he came and took the body of Jesus.
Then it being evening on that day, the first of the sabbaths, and the doors having been locked where the disciples were gathered together because of fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the midst and says to them, Peace to you.
This one came to Jesus by night and said to Him, Rabbi, we know that You have come as a teacher from God. For no one is able to do these miraculous signs which You do, except God be with Him.
His parents said these things because they feared the Jews; for the Jews had already agreed that if anyone should confess Him as Christ, he would be expelled from the synagogue.
I know your works, and where you dwell, where the throne of Satan is. And you hold My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days in which Antipas was My faithful witness; who was killed alongside you, where Satan dwells.
