John 4:34

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Jesus said to them, My food is that I should do the will of Him having sent Me, and that I may finish His work.

and I have not departed from the command of His lips; I treasured the words of His mouth more than my portion.

I delight to do Your will, O My God; and Your Law is within My inmost being.

After this, Jesus knowing that all things have now been finished that the Scripture be fulfilled, He says, I thirst.

Therefore when Jesus took the vinegar, He said, It has been finished. And bowing His head, He gave over the spirit.

But He said to them, I have food to eat which you do not know.

I am not able to do anything of Myself, nothing! Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My will, but the will of the Father having sent Me.

But I have the witness greater than the one of John, for the works which the Father has given Me, that I should finish them, the works which I do themselves, witness concerning Me, that the Father has sent Me.

For the bread of God is the One coming down out of the heaven and giving life to the world.

for I have come down out of Heaven, not that I should do My will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

And the One having sent Me is with Me. The Father did not leave Me alone, for I do the things pleasing to Him always.

I showed you by all things that working hard in this way it is needful to help the ones being feeble, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

looking to the Author and Finisher of our faith, Jesus, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, “and has sat down at the right hand” of the throne of God.”
