Then Peter and the other disciple went out and came to the tomb.

But Peter, rising up, ran to the tomb, and bending down he saw the linen lying alone. And he went away wondering to himself at what had happened.

And the two were running together, and the other disciple ran in front more quickly than Peter and he came first to the tomb.
