Jesus spoke these things and lifted up His eyes to Heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may also glorify You,

A Song of Ascents. I will lift up my eyes on You, You who dwell in Heaven.

Like a swift or a crane, so I chatter. I moan as the dove; my eyes look weakly to the heights, O Jehovah; it presses me down; be surety for me!

And He came a third time, and said to them, Sleep on now, and rest. It is enough. The hour has come. Behold, the Son of Man is given over into the hands of sinners.

And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not even lift up his eyes to Heaven, but smote on his breast, saying, God, be merciful to me, the sinner!

According to a day, I being with you in the temple, you did not stretch forth your hands on Me. But this is your hour and the authority of the darkness.

And hearing, Jesus said, This is not sickness to death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God be glorified by it.

Then they lifted the stone where was lying the one having died. And Jesus lifted His eyes upward and said, Father, I thank You that You heard Me.

But Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come that the Son of Man should be glorified.

And before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus knowing that His hour had come that He should pass from this world to the Father, having loved His own in the world, He loved them to the end.

Behold, an hour is coming, and now has come, that you will be scattered, each one to his own things, and you will leave Me alone. Yet I am not alone, because the Father is with Me.

Therefore they sought to seize Him; yet no one laid a hand on Him, because His hour had not yet come.

But He said this about the Spirit, whom the ones believing into Him were about to receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus spoke these words in the treasury, teaching in the temple; and no one seized Him, for His hour had not yet come.

The “God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob,” “the God of our fathers,” Ex. 3:15 glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you gave over, and denied Him to the face of Pilate, judging to set that One free.

the ones believing in God through Him, He raising Him from the dead, and giving glory to Him so that your faith and hope may be in God.
