And you, therefore, truly have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one takes your joy from you.

And He gives rest, and who can condemn? And when He hides His face, who then can see Him? Even it may be against a nation and a man together,

While I live I will praise Jehovah; I will sing praises to my God while I have being.

For our heart rejoices in Him because we trust in His holy name.

And one shall say in that day, Behold, this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He will save us. This is Jehovah; we have waited for Him; we will be glad and rejoice in His salvation.

But because I have said these things to you, grief has filled your heart.

Therefore the disciple whom Jesus loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. Then Simon Peter hearing that it is the Lord, having girded on his outer garment (for he was unclad) and he threw himself into the sea.

but whoever may drink of the water which I will give him will not thirst, not ever! But the water which I will give to him will become a fountain of water in him, springing up into everlasting life.

And the disciples were filled with joy and the Holy Spirit.

And about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing praise to God, and the prisoners listened to them.

And according to a day continuing steadfastly with one mind in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in great joy and simplicity of heart,

Then they indeed departed from the face of the sanhedrin, rejoicing that they were deemed worthy to be dishonored on behalf of His name.

as being grieved, yet always rejoicing; as poor, yet enriching many; as having nothing, yet possessing all things.

But may our Lord Himself, Jesus Christ, and our God and Father, the One having loved us and having given everlasting comfort and good hope by grace,

for indeed you suffered together in my bonds; and you accepted the plunder of your possessions with joy, knowing yourselves to have a better and abiding possession in Heaven.

that through two unchangeable things, in which it was not possible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, the ones having fled to lay hold on the hope being set before us,

whom having not known, you love; in whom not yet seeing, but believing, you exult with joy unspeakable and being glorified,
