Then Jesus answered and said to them, Truly, truly, I say to you, The Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing; for whatever that One does, these things also the Son does likewise.
Therefore Jesus said to them, When you lift up the Son of Man, then you will know that I AM; and from Myself I do nothing; but as My Father taught Me, these things I speak.
I shall raise up a Prophet to them from among their brothers, One like you; and I will put My words in His mouth; and He shall speak to them all that I shall command Him.
But for this reason I received mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might show forth all long-suffering, for an example to the ones being about to believe on Him unto everlasting life.
And we know that the Son of God has come, and He has given to us an understanding that we may know the True One, and we are in the True One, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and the life everlasting.
