And it was Mary who anointed the Lord with ointment and wiped His feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.

And He being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, He reclining, a woman came, having an alabaster vial of pure, costly ointment of nard. And breaking the alabaster vial, she poured it down on His head.

And seeing her, the Lord had compassion on her and said to her, Do not weep.

And having called near a certain two of his disciples, John sent to Jesus, saying, Are You the One coming? Or should we expect another?

Then Martha said to Jesus, Lord, if You were here, my brother would not have died.

Then the sisters sent to Him, saying, Lord, behold, the one whom You love is sick.

Then Mary, when she came where Jesus was, seeing Him, she fell at His feet, saying to Him, Lord, if You were here, my brother would not have died.

Then taking a pound of ointment of genuine, very costly spikenard, Mary anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped off His feet with her hair . And the house was filled with the fragrance of the ointment.

You call Me the Teacher, and, the Lord. And you say well, for I AM.

Therefore if I washed your feet, the Lord and the Teacher, you also ought to wash the feet of one another.
