And Nathanael said to him, Can any good thing be out of Nazareth? Philip said to him, Come and see.
Philip, and Bartholomew, Thomas, and Matthew the tax-collector, James the son of Alpheus, and Lebbaeus, whose last name was Thaddaeus,
And coming, he dwelt in a city called Nazareth, so as to fulfill that spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.
And why do you not judge the right even of yourselves?
And Philip was from Bethsaida, of the city of Andrew and of Peter.
Philip finds Nathanael and said to him, We have found the One of whom Moses wrote in the Law and the Prophets, Jesus the son of Joseph, the One from Nazareth.
Then these people came to Philip, the one from Bethsaida of Galilee, and they asked him, saying, Sir, we desire to see Jesus.
And Philip says to Him, Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.
Come, see a Man who told me all things, as many as I did. Is not this the Christ?
Then Jesus lifting up His eyes and seeing that a great crowd is coming to Him, He said to Philip, From where may we buy bread that these may eat?
Philip answered Him, Bread for two hundred denarii are not enough for them, that each of them may receive a little.
They answered and said to him, Are you also from Galilee? Search and see that a prophet has not been raised out of Galilee.
Test all things, hold fast the good.
