And the Word became flesh and tabernacled among us. And we beheld His glory, glory as of an only begotten One from the Father, full of grace and of truth.
For He comes up before Him as a shoot, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form and no majesty that we should see Him, and not an appearance that we should desire Him.
Jesus says to him, Am I so long a time with you, and you have not known Me, Philip? The one having seen Me has seen the Father! And how do you say, Show us the Father?
Father, I desire that the ones whom You have given Me, that where I am, those also may be with Me, that they may behold My glory which You gave Me, because You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
Then Pilate said to Him, Therefore, then are you not a king? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. For this purpose I have been born, and for this purpose I have come into the world, that I might witness to the Truth. Everyone being of the Truth hears My voice.
The one believing into Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed into the name of the only begotten Son of God.
I am the Living Bread, the One having come down from Heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live to the age. And indeed the bread which I will give is My flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
that this God has fulfilled to us, their children, raising up Jesus; as also it is written in the second Psalm, “You are My Son, today I have begotten You.” Psa. 2:7
For the law being powerless, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and concerning sin, condemned sin in the flesh,
And He said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is perfected in weakness. Therefore, I will rather gladly boast in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ might dwell on me.
This grace was given to me, I being less than the least of all the saints, to preach the gospel of the incomprehensable riches of Christ among the nations,
And, confessedly, great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in flesh, was justified in Spirit, was seen by angels, was proclaimed among nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
who being the shining splendor of His glory, and the express image of His essence, and bearing up all things by the Word of His power, having made purification of our sins through Himself, He sat down on the right of the Majesty on high, Psa. 110:1
For to which of the angels did He ever say, “You are My Son; today I have begotten You”? And again, “I will be a Father to Him, and He shall be a Son to Me.” Psalm 2:7
And I heard a great voice out of Heaven, saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God with men! And He will tabernacle with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them as their God.
