For He remembered that they were flesh, a breath passing away, and not returning.

O Jehovah, You know. Remember me and visit me, and take vengeance for me on those who persecute me. Do not take me away in the long of Your anger; know that I bear reproach for You.

Remember, I pray, the time of life; for what vanity have you created all the sons of men?

Remember, O Lord, the reproach of Your servants, my bearing in my bosom the insults of the many peoples

Remember this: the enemy has reproached, O Jehovah; and a foolish people have held in contempt Your name.

Arise, O God, contend for Your cause; remember Your reproach from the foolish one all the day.

Remember, I pray, that You have formed me as clay; and will You bring me to dust again?

Now my days are swifter than a runner; they flee away; they see no good;

I pray, remember the Word that You commanded Your servant Moses, saying, If you act unfaithfully, I will scatter you among the peoples.

And their father Jacob said to them, You have bereaved me. Joseph is not, and Simeon is not, and you will take Benjamin? All of these are against me.

I despise them; I will not live always. Cease from me, for my days are vanity.

Many are saying, Who will make us see any good? O Jehovah, lift up the light of Your face on us.

Are not my days few? Then cease and let me alone, that I may take a little comfort

Surely a man walks about in shadow; surely they are in an uproar in vain; he heaps up and does not know who is gathering them.
