For the arrows of the Almighty are within me; their fury is drinking my spirit; the terrors of God are set against me.

His anger has torn, and retained animosity against me; He gnashes at me with His teeth; my Adversary sharpens his eyes at me.

His troops come together and they heap up their way against me; and they camp all around my tent.

He shall suck the poison of asps; the viper’s tongue shall slay him.

His eyes shall see his ruin, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

Terrors are turned on me; they pursue my soul like the wind, and my prosperity passes away like a cloud.

For calamity from God is a terror to me, and I could not do the thing because of His majesty.

should I lie against my right? My wound is incurable, without transgression.

I have sinned; what do I do to You, O Watcher of man? Why have You set me as a target for You so that I am a burden on myself?

He falls on me me with a tempest, and adds to my wounds without cause;

O Jehovah, answer me quickly; my spirit is spent; do not hide Your face from me lest I be compared with the ones who go down to the Pit.

Yea, He sent out His arrows and scattered them; and He shot out lightnings and confused them.

for You shall make them turn the back; against their faces You shall fix Your arrows on Your string.

For Your arrows are going down into me, and Your hand is going down on me.

There is no soundness in my flesh because of Your anger; no peace in my bones because of my sin.

Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies; peoples fall under You.

yea, He has fitted for him instruments of death. He will make His arrows hotly pursue him.

The heart knows the bitterness of its soul, and a stranger does not share in its joy.

The spirit of a man will endure his sickness, but who can bear a stricken spirit?

As often as it passes, it shall take you; for it shall pass in the morning, in the morning, in the day and in the night, it shall only be a terror to understand the message.

He trod His bow like an enemy, and set His right hand like an oppressive one; and killed all who were desirable to the eye in the tent of the daughter of Zion. He poured out His fury like fire.
