Behold, you have instructed many; and you have made weak hands strong.

For I have known him, so that whatever he may command his sons and his house after him, even they may keep the way of Jehovah, to do righteousness and justice; to the intent that Jehovah may bring on Abraham that which He has spoken of him.

And they performed the Feast of Unleavened Bread seven days with joy. For Jehovah had made them joyful, and had turned the heart of the king of Assyria to them, to make their hands strong in the work of the house of God, the God of Israel.

I might strengthen you with my mouth, and the moving of my lips could spare you.

For the ear heard, and blessed me; and the eye saw, and witnessed for me.

I was eyes to the blind ones and feet for the lame ones.

I was father to the poor one, and the cause which I did not know, I searched out.

They listened to me and waited, and kept silence for my counsel.

Your words have upheld him who was falling, and you have made feeble knees strong.

The lips of the righteous one feed many, but foolish ones die in lack of heart.

The lips of the wise ones disperse knowledge, but the heart of fools is not so.

The wise in heart shall be called understanding, and sweetness of lips increases learning.

Strengthen then the slack of hands and firm up the staggering knees.

The Lord Jehovah has given to Me the tongue of learned ones, to know to help the weary with a word. He arouses in the morning; He wakens the ear to Me, to hear as the learned ones.

Because you have saddened the heart of the righteous one with lies, and I have not pained him, and you have made the hands of the wicked one strong, so that he should not turn from his evil way, to keep him alive.

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear not! Zion, do not let your hands droop.

but I prayed for you, that your faith not fail. And you, when turning back, make firm your brothers.

And an angel from Heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.

Let not any rotten word go out of your mouth, but if any is good to building up in respect to the need, that it may give grace to the ones hearing.

And command Joshua and make him strong, and make him brave, for he shall cross over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you shall see.

Let your word be always with grace, having been seasoned with salt, to know how you ought to answer each one.

Therefore straighten up the having been weakened hands “and the having been enfeebled knees;”
