I will not now lift up the face of a man, nor eulogize any man.

And your servant said, Please let the word of my lord the king rest. For as a messenger of God, so is my lord the king, to understand the good and the evil. And Jehovah your God shall be with you.

Your servant Joab has done this thing to turn about the face of the matter, and my lord is wise according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all that is in the land.

Reproving He will reprove you if you secretly lift up faces.

Will you lift up His face, or will you contend for God?

I will speak so that I may be relieved; I will open my lips and answer.

For I do not know how to eulogize; else after a little my Maker will take me up.

My words are of uprightness of my heart; and my lips will clearly speak knowledge.

He who does not lift up the face of rulers, and does not regard the rich one before the poor one; for all of them are the work of His hands.

Until when will you judge unjustly, and lift up the faces of the wicked ones? Selah.

These also are for the wise ones: to know faces in judgment is not good.

He who reproves a man afterwards finds grace, more than he who flatters with the tongue.

You shall do no unrighteousness in judgment; you shall not respect the person of the poor one, and not favor the person of the great one, but in righteousness you shall judge your neighbor.

And I have also made you despised and low to all the people, in your mouth by which you are not keeping My ways, but are lifting up faces in the Law.

And they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth, and it does not concern You about anyone, for You do not look to the face of men.

You shall not recognize persons in judgment; you shall hear the small as well as the great; you shall not be afraid because of the face of a man, for the judgment is God’s; and the thing too hard for you, you shall bring near to me, and I will hear it.

You shall not pervert judgment. You shall not regard faces, and you shall not take a bribe; for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous ones.
