Far be it from me that I should justify you. Until I die, I shall not turn aside my integrity from me.

I put on righteousness and it clothed me; my judgment was like a robe and a turban.

If there is a contention between men, and they come to judgment, and they judge them, and declare the one being righteous the righteous one, and declare the wicked one guilty;

For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.

And Jehovah said to Satan, Have you set your heart on My servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and upright man, fearing God, and turning away from evil? And he is still holding to his integrity, although you incited Me against him, to swallow him for nothing.

Turn back, please, let there be no wrong. Yea, turn back again, for my righteousness is in it.

let me be weighed in just scales, and that God may know my integrity.

And these three men rested from answering Job, because he was a righteous one in his own eyes.

And burned the anger of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the family of Ram; his anger burned against Job, because he had justified himself rather than God.

And the righteous one shall hold firmly on his way; and he of clean hands adds strength.

If my step has turned aside out of the way, or my heart has walked after my eyes, and if any spot has clung to my palm,

You said, I am pure, without transgression; I am clean and no iniquity is in me;
