I would set in order my cause before Him, and I would fill my mouth with arguments.
And You said, dealing I will deal well with you, and I will make your seed like the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude.
Behold now, I have set my cause in order; I know that I shall be justified.
Surely I would speak to the Almighty, and I desire to reason with God.
Oh that I knew and I could find Him, I would come into His seat;
I would know the words He would answer me, and understand what He would say to me.
Make us know what we shall say to Him; for we cannot arrange our case because of darkness.
Shall a reprover contend with the Almighty? He who reproves God, let him answer it.
For Your name’s sake, O Jehovah, even pardon my iniquity for it is great.
Judge me, O God, and strive for my cause against a nation not godly. Deliver me from the man of deceit and injustice.
Cause Me to remember; let us judge together; sum up for yourself, that you may be justified.
