And they say to God, Depart from us, for we do not desire the knowledge of Your ways.

for so they turned aside from following Him, and they did not wisely consider all His ways,

But no one says, Where is God, my Maker, who gives songs in the night,

He has said in his heart, God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will not see forever.

Through pride of his face, the wicked one will not seek; there is no God in all of his schemes.

For forty years I detested this generation; and I said, They are a people who go astray in heart; and, They do not know My ways,

Until when, ones of simplicity, will you love simplicity? And will scorning ones desire scorning for themselves? And will fools hate knowledge?

Instead, they hated knowledge and chose not the fear of Jehovah.

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge; foolish ones despise wisdom and instruction.

Turn aside from the way; stretch from the path; cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.

O generation, see the Word of Jehovah. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, or a land of darkness? Why do My people say, We roam; we will come no more to You.

Your dwelling is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know Me, a statement of Jehovah.

He takes up all of them with the hook; he drags him with his net and gathers him with his fishing net. On account of this he rejoices and exults.

And seeing Jesus, and crying out, he fell down before Him, and with a loud voice said, What to me and to You, Jesus, Son of God the Most High? I beg You, do not torment me.

And all the multitude of the surrounding region of the Gadarenes were seized with a great fear, and asked Him to depart from them. And entering into the boat, He returned.

And even as they did not think fit to have God in their knowledge, God gave them over to an unfit mind, to do the things not fitting

Therefore the mind of the flesh is enmity towards God; for it is not being subject to the law of God, for neither can it be.
