King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

And three friends of Job heard of all this evil that had come on him. And they came, each man from his own place: Eliphaz the Temanite; Bildad the Shuhite; and Zophar the Naamathite. And they had met together to come to lament with him, and to comfort him.

And the sons of Eliphaz: Teman, Omar, Zepho, and Gatam, and Kenaz.

These were the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz, the first-born of Esau: Chief Teman, Chief Omar, Chief Zepho, Chief Kenaz,

And Jobab died, and Husham from the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

And all his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him. And he refused to be comforted, and said, I will go down to Sheol mourning for my son. And his father wept for him.

And the sons of Keturah, Abraham’s concubine: she bore Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan were Sheba and Dedan.

And Jobab died; and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his place.

And their father Ephraim mourned many days, and his brothers came to comfort him.

And Zophar the Naamathite answered and said:

But you are ones smearing lies; all of you are worthless healers.

And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said:

I have heard many such things. You are all troublesome comforters.

My scorners are my friends; my eye pours out tears to God.

And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said:

All the men of my counsel detest me; even those I loved have turned against me.

Pity me! Pity me, you my friends! For the hand of God has touched me.

And Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said:

And all his brothers and all his sisters came to him; and all knowing him before. And they ate bread with him in his house and consoled him and comforted him as to all the evil that Jehovah had brought on him. And they each man gave him one piece of money, and each man a ring of gold.

And it happened, after Jehovah spoke these words to Job, Jehovah said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My anger burns against you and your two friends. For You have not spoken what is right about Me, as My servant Job.

And Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as Jehovah spoke to them. And Jehovah lifted the face of Job.

To the despairing one, pity is due from his friend; for he forsakes the fear of the Almighty.

The wayfarers of Tema looked; the traveling companies of Sheba hoped for them;

And Bildad the Shuhite answered, saying:

A friend loves at every time, and a brother is born for distress.

A man of friends may be broken up, but there is a Lover who sticks closer than a brother.

Do not forsake your friend, and your father’s friend, and do not go into your brother’s house in the day of your calamity, for a near neighbor is better than a brother at a distance.

Those two things came to you; who shall grieve for you? Ruin and shattering and famine and the sword, who but I shall comfort you?

So says Jehovah of Hosts concerning Edom: Is wisdom no more in Teman? Has counsel perished from the prudent? Has their wisdom vanished?

And your mighty one, Teman, shall be afraid, so that each man from the mount of Esau may be cut off by slaughter.

And many of the Jews had come to the ones around Martha and Mary, that they might console them concerning their brother.

Rejoice with rejoicing ones, and weep with weeping ones;

And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. If one member is glorified, all the members rejoice with it.

Be mindful of the prisoners, as having been bound with them; of the ones ill-treated, as also being in the body yourselves.

and Gederoth, Beth-dagon, and Naamah, and Makkedah, sixteen cities and their villages;
