that which wise men have told and have not hidden from their fathers;

With us are both the gray-headed and very aged men, mightier than your father as to days.

I will tell you; hear me, and I will recount this that I have seen;

to them, them alone, the land was given, and no alien passed in their midst.

Do you know this from of old, from the setting of man on earth,

For please ask of the former generation, and prepare to the search of their fathers;

And even when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not leave me until I make known Your arm to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

The living, the living is the one thanking You; as I do today. The father makes known Your truth to his sons.
