Should your lies make men silent? And will you mock, and no one make you ashamed?
I am a laughingstock to his friend; he calls to God, and He answers him; the just one, the blameless one is a mockery;
But you are ones smearing lies; all of you are worthless healers.
Or as one man mocks a man, do you mock Him? Is it good that He should search you out?
If not there were mockers with me, and my eye rests on their insults.
Rise with me and I shall speak; then after I have spoken, you may mock.
And if not, then who will prove me a liar and make my speech into nothing?
What man is like Job, who drinks up derision like water;
with the godless ones mockers for a cake, gnashing their teeth on me.
Fill their faces with shame and they will seek Your name, O Jehovah.
I did not sit in the circle of ones who laugh in derision, and did not exult. I sat alone because of Your hand; for You have filled me with indignation.
But if anyone does not obey our word through the letter, mark this one, and do not associate with him, that he be shamed.
sound speech, without condemnation, that the hostile ones may he shamed, having nothing bad to say about you.
because they told you that at the last time there will be mockers going after ungodlinesses according to their lusts.
