surely then you shall lift up your face without blemish; and you will be steadfast, and you will not fear;

If you do well, is there not exaltation? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is toward you; but you should rule over it.

If I am wrong, woe to me! And if I am being righteous, I will not lift up my head, being filled with shame and seeing my pain.

for then you will delight over the Almighty, and you will lift up your face to God.

For our glorying is this, the testimony of our conscience, that we had our conduct in the world in simplicity and sincerity of God, not in fleshly wisdom, but in the grace of God, and especially toward you.

Therefore, I purpose the men to pray in every place, lifting up holy hands without wrath and doubting.

And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears we may have confidence, and not be shamed from Him in His coming.
