Their tongue is a slaughtering arrow; it speaks deceit. One speaks peace with his neighbor with his mouth, but in his inner part he sets his ambush.

Draw me not away with the wicked ones, with the workers of iniquity; those who speak peace with their neighbors, yet evil is in their hearts.

And they bend their tongues, their bow is a lie. And they are not mighty for the truth on the earth, for they go from evil to evil; And they do not know Me, a statement of Jehovah.

What shall be given to you, or what shall one add to you, O deceitful tongue?

A maul, and a sword, and a sharp arrow is a man testifying a witness of falsehood against his neighbor.

Let every man be on guard against his neighbor, and do not trust any brother. For supplanting every brother will supplant, and every neighbor will go about as one slandering.

Whose rich ones are full of violence, and ones living in her speak a lie, and their tongue is deceit in their mouth.

Jehovah shall cut off all with flattering lips and the tongue that speaks great things;

Only be silent to God, O my soul, for my hope is from Him.

Shall I not call to account for these things, a statement of Jehovah? And shall not My soul be avenged on a nation that is like this?
