So behold, the days come that I will visit on the idols of Babylon. And all her land shall be shamed, and all pierced in her shall fall in her midst.

And, behold this, a chariot of a man comes, a pair of horses. And he answered and said, Babylon has fallen, has fallen! And He has shattered the graven images of her gods to the earth.

So Jehovah of Hosts says this: Behold, I will call them to account. The young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine.

What will you say when He calls you to account? For you taught them to be chiefs over you for a head. Will not birth pangs seize you like a woman bearing?

And the prophet, and the priest, and the people who shall say, The burden of Jehovah, I will even call that man and his house to account.

And it shall be, when seventy years are fulfilled, I will call to account the king of Babylon and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, a statement of Jehovah; and I will make it everlasting ruins.

Declare among the nations, and make them hear, and lift up a banner. Make them hear, do not hide it; say, Babylon is captured, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is broken in pieces, her images are put to shame, her idols are broken in pieces.

They are vanity, the work of errors; in the time of their visitation they shall perish.

And I will give to Babylon, and to all those living in Chaldea all the evil that they have done in Zion, before your eyes, a statement of Jehovah.

Her cities have become a ruin, a dry land and a wilderness, a land in which no man dwells, and not does a son of man pass by it.

So, behold, the days are coming, a statement of Jehovah, that I will visit on her idols, and through all her land the pierced shall groan.
