Now hear this, O foolish people, and not with a heart, eyes are to them, but do not see, ears are to them, but they do not hear.

Understand you brutish ones among the people; yea, you fools, when will you be wise?

Why is this, a price in the hand of a fool to obtain wisdom, and there is no heart for it?

When its boughs dry up, they are broken off. Women shall come and kindle them, for it is not a people of discernment. On account of this his Maker will not pity him, and his Former will not favor him.

Bring out the blind ones, yet there are eyes; and the deaf ones, yet there are ears to him.

They do not know and not discern; for He has smeared their eyes from seeing, their hearts from understanding.

But they are at once being foolish and being stupid; their tree is an instruction of vanities.

For My people are foolish. They do not know Me. They are stupid children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but they do not know to do good.

Declare this in the house of Jacob and make it heard in Judah, saying,

And I said, Surely they are poor ones; they are being foolish, for they do not know the way of Jehovah, the judgment of their God.

To whom shall I speak and give warning and they may hear? Behold, their ears are not circumcised, and they are not able to pay attention-. Behold, the Word of Jehovah is a reproach to them; they have no delight in it.

And now, because you have done all these works, a statement of Jehovah, and I spoke to you, rising up early and speaking, but you did not hear. Yea, I called you, but you did not answer.

Also the stork in the heavens knows her seasons, and the turtledove and the swallow and the thrush observe the time of their coming. But My people do not know the judgment of Jehovah.

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house. They have eyes to see, but they do not see; ears are to them to hear, but they do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.

Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart; they call to Egypt; they go to Assyria.

But they refused to listen, and gave a stubborn shoulder, and they made their ears heavy from hearing.

that seeing they may see and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand, that not ever they should convert, and the sins be remitted to them. Isa. 6:9, 10

“Having eyes, do you not see? And having ears, do you not hear?” And do you not remember? Jer. 5:21

For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and divinity, for them to be without excuse.

even as it is written, “God gave to them a spirit of slumber, eyes not seeing and ears not hearing” until today, this day. Isa. 29:10; Deut. 29:4

Your eyes have seen the great trials, the signs, and those great wonders.

Yet Jehovah has not given to you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, until this day.

Do you thus give back to Jehovah, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father who bought you? Has not He made you and established you?
