to provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt, there where you have gone to sojourn, that I might cut you off, and that you might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?

then I shall pluck them up from off My land that I have given them, and this house that I have sanctified for My name I shall cast away from before My face, and I shall give it for a proverb and a gibe among all the nations.

The burden of Egypt: Behold! Jehovah rides on a light cloud and comes into Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall tremble from before Him; and the heart of Egypt shall melt in its midst.

For Jerusalem has stumbled, and Judah has fallen, because their tongue and their doings toward Jehovah are to rebel against the eyes of His glory.

And you shall leave your name for a curse to My elect. And the Lord Jehovah shall cause you to die; and He shall call His servants by another name.

And the cities of Judah and those living in Jerusalem shall go and cry to the gods to whom they burned incense, to them. But they are not at all able to save them in the time of their evil.

And Jehovah of Hosts, who planted you, has spoken evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah which they have done to themselves, to provoke Me to anger by burning incense to Baal.

to make their land a desolation, a hissing forever. Everyone who passes by will be stunned and will shake his head.

I will even make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth for evil, for a reproach, and a proverb, a gibe, and a curse, there in all places where I will drive them.

even I will give this house to be like Shiloh, and will make this city to be a curse to all the nations of the earth.

And I will pursue them with the sword, with the famine, and with the plague. And I will give them to be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and a waste, and a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations, there where I have banished them.

For the sons of Israel and the sons of Judah have only done evil in My eyes from their youth. For the sons of Israel have only provoked Me to anger with the work of their hands, a statement of Jehovah.

For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, As My anger and My fury has poured out upon the people of Jerusalem, so shall My fury pour out on you when you enter Egypt. And you shall be a curse, and a horror, and a shame, and a reproach, and you shall not see this place again.

And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt, to sojourn there; and they shall all be consumed and fall in the land of Egypt. They shall be consumed by the sword, and by the famine. They shall die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword, and by the famine, and they shall be a curse, a horror, and a shame, and a reproach.

because of the evil which they have done, by provoking Me to anger, by going to burn incense, by serving other gods that they did not know, they, you, and not your fathers.

And now so says Jehovah, the God of Hosts, the God of Israel: Why do you do this great evil thing against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and suckling, out of Judah, not leaving to yourselves a remnant,

Will you steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear a lie, and burn incense to Baal, and go after other gods whom you do not know?

Say to them, As I live, a statement of the Lord Jehovah, I do not have delight in the death of the wicked one, except in the evil one turning from his way, and so to live. Turn back! Turn back from your evil ways! For why will you die, O house of Israel?

Slay the aged men, the young man, and the virgin, even children, and women, all to destruction. But to every man who has the mark on him, do not come near. And begin from My sanctuary. And they began with the aged men who were before the house.

They sacrifice on the tops of the mountains and burn incense on the hills, under oak and poplar and terebinth trees, because its shade is good. On account of this, your daughters shall be prostitutes, and your brides shall commit adultery.

On account of this he sacrifices to his net, and burns incense to his fishnet; because by them his portion grows fat, and his food rich.

The sword shall bereave from without, and terror from within, both the young man and the virgin, the suckling with the man of gray hairs.

For having heard, some provoked Him, but not all the ones coming out of Egypt through Moses.
