And Jehovah could not still bear it because of the evil of your doings, because of the abominations you have done. And your land became a waste, and a horror, and a curse, without one living in it, as this day.

For we are about to destroy this place, for the cry of them is great before Jehovah, and Jehovah has sent us to destroy it.

And Jehovah said, My Spirit shall not always strive with man; in their erring he is flesh. And his days shall be a hundred and twenty years.

And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He made with their fathers, and His testimonies that He testified against them, and went after the vain thing, and became vain, and after the nations that were around them, of whom Jehovah had commanded them not to act like them.

Therefore, a statement of the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Alas! I will be eased of My adversaries, and avenge Myself of My enemies.

You have not bought calamus for Me with silver, nor have you filled Me with the fat of your sacrifices; but only you made Me serve by your sins; you wearied Me by your iniquities.

And He said, Hear now, O house of David, is it too little for you to weary men, that you will also weary my God?

You have forsaken Me, says Jehovah. You have gone backward, and I will stretch out My hand against you and ruin you; I am weary of repenting.

O house of David, so says Jehovah: Judge justice for the morning, and deliver the one plundered out of the hand of the one oppressing, that My fury not go out like fire and burn so that none can put it out, because of the evil of your doings.

Therefore, so says Jehovah the God of Israel against the shepherds who are feeding My people: You have scattered My flock, and have driven them away, and have not visited them. Behold, I will visit on you the evil of your doings, says Jehovah.

I will even make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth for evil, for a reproach, and a proverb, a gibe, and a curse, there in all places where I will drive them.

And this whole land shall be a waste and a horror; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and their kings, and their rulers, to make them a ruin, a horror, a hissing, and a curse, as it is this day;

Like the young lion, He has left His den; for their land is a waste because of the anger of oppressing ones, and because of the anger of His face.

even I will give this house to be like Shiloh, and will make this city to be a curse to all the nations of the earth.

And I will pursue them with the sword, with the famine, and with the plague. And I will give them to be a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and a waste, and a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations, there where I have banished them.

For they have not listened to My words, a statement of Jehovah, which I sent to them by My servants the prophets, rising up early and sending; but you would not hear, a statement of Jehovah.

All those loving you have forgotten you; they do not seek you. For I have struck you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastening of a cruel one, because of the greatness of your iniquity. Your sins are many.

Behold, I will command and cause them to return to this city, a statement of Jehovah. And they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire. And I will make the cities of Judah to be a desolation,without one to live in it.

Circumcise yourselves to Jehovah, and take away the foreskin of your heart, O men of Judah and those living in Jerusalem, lest My fury go forth like fire and burn, so that no one can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.

For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, As My anger and My fury has poured out upon the people of Jerusalem, so shall My fury pour out on you when you enter Egypt. And you shall be a curse, and a horror, and a shame, and a reproach, and you shall not see this place again.

And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt, to sojourn there; and they shall all be consumed and fall in the land of Egypt. They shall be consumed by the sword, and by the famine. They shall die, from the least even to the greatest, by the sword, and by the famine, and they shall be a curse, a horror, and a shame, and a reproach.

So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, You have seen all the evil that I have brought on Jerusalem, and on all the cities of Judah. And, behold! This day they are a ruin, and no one lives in them,

And My fury and My anger poured out and burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem. And they are for a waste and for a desolation as at this day.

Give wings to Moab, for it will fly, going forth; and its cities shall be a waste without one living in them.

Shall I not call to account for these things, a statement of Jehovah? And shall not My soul be avenged on a nation that is like this?

And the nations shall know that the house of Israel was exiled for their iniquity, because they acted unfaithfully toward Me, so I hid My face from them and gave them into the hand of their enemies; and they fell by the sword, all of them.

And My anger shall be spent, and I will make My fury rest on them, and I will be eased. And they shall know that I, Jehovah, have spoken in My zeal, in My completing My fury among them.

Yea, all Israel has transgressed Your Law and turned aside, not obeying Your voice. And the curse has poured out on us, and the oath that is written in the Law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.

And He has raised up His words which He spoke against us, and against our judges who judge us, by bringing on us a great evil, which under the whole heavens has not been done as it has been done to Jerusalem.

Behold, I am pressed under you, as is pressed the cart with the fullness of cut grain in it.

You have wearied Jehovah with your words. Yet you say, In what way have we wearied Him? When you say, Every doer of evil is good in the eyes of Jehovah, and in them He delights; or, Where is the God of justice?

But if God, desiring to display wrath, and to make His power known, endured in much long-suffering vessels of wrath having been fitted out for destruction,
