For so says Jehovah to the men of Judah and to Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and do not sow to the thorns.

And it shall bring forth thorns and thistles for you, and you shall eat the plant of the field.

And the seventh year you shall let it rest and let it alone, and the needy one of your people shall eat. And what they leave, the animals of the field shall eat. So you shall do to your vineyard, to your oliveyard.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap as kindness. Break up your fallow ground. For it is time to seek Jehovah, until He comes and rains righteousness to you.

And the seed sown into the thornbushes is this: the one hearing the Word, and the anxiety of this age, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful.

And other fell on the thorn-bushes, and the thorn-bushes grew up and choked them.

And another fell into the thorn-bushes, and the thorn bushes grew up and choked it; and it did not yield fruit.

And the one falling in the thornbushes, these are the ones hearing, but under cares and riches and pleasures of life, moving along, they are choked, and do not bear to maturity.

And other fell in the middle of the thornbushes, and growing up with it, the thornbushes choked it.
