Every city shall flee from the noise of the horsemen and shooters of the bow. They shall go into thickets and go up in the rocks. Every city shall be forsaken, and not a man shall live in them.

I saw the Lord standing by the altar. And He said, Strike the capital, and the thresholds will shake; and cut them off on the head of all of them. And I will kill the last of them with the sword. Fleeing not one of them will flee, and not a fugitive of them will escape.

And the men of Israel saw that they were distressing to them, for the people were distressed. And the people hid themselves in caves, and in crevices, and in crags, and in tombs, and in cisterns.
