I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those seeking their life. And their corpses shall be for food to the birds of the heavens, and to the beasts of the earth.

And afterward, a statement of Jehovah, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and those who remain in this city from the plague, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those who seek their lives. And he shall strike them with the mouth of the sword; he shall not spare them, and not have pity, and not have compassion.

And I will give you into the hand of those who seek your life, and into the hand of those of whom you are fearful before them, even into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.

And Zedekiah the king swore secretly to Jeremiah, saying, As Jehovah lives, who made us this soul, I will not cause you to die, and I will not give you into the hand of these men who seek your soul.

And the king of Babylon slaughtered the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes at Riblah. And the king of Babylon slaughtered all the rulers of Judah.

And you, one being desolated, what will you do? Though you clothe yourself with crimson, though you adorn yourself with ornaments of gold, though you make large your eyes with paint, you beautify yourself in vain. Lovers despise you; they will seek your life.

So says Jehovah, Behold, I am giving Pharaoh-hophra, king of Egypt, into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of those who seek his soul, even as I gave Zedekiah, king of Judah, into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, his enemy that sought his soul.

And I will cause Elam to be terrified before their enemies and before those seeking their life. And I will bring an evil thing on them, the burning of My anger, a statement of Jehovah. And I will send the sword after them until I have consumed them.

And the bodies of this people shall be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth; and no one shall frighten them away.

For so says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will give you into the hand of those whom you hate, into the hand of whom your soul was alienated from them.

And I will leave you to the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers. You shall fall on the face of the field, you shall not be removed or gathered. I have given you to the beasts of the field and to the birds of the heavens for food.

And I will leave you on the land; I will hurl you on the face of the field and will make all the birds of the heavens to dwell on you. And I will fill the beasts of all the earth from you.

And your body shall be food to all the birds of the heavens, and to the beasts of the earth; and there shall be none terrifying them.

And the Philistine said to David, Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the heavens and to the beasts of the field.

This day Jehovah shall shut you up into my hand, and I shall strike you, and take off your head from you and give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the heavens and to the living things of the earth this day. And all the earth shall know that there is a God for Israel.
