And this whole land shall be a waste and a horror; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

And he removed to Babylon the remnant of the sword; and they were slaves to him and to his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia;

And I will lay it waste; it shall not be pruned and not hoed; but briers and thorns shall come up. And on the clouds I will command the rain from raining on it.

And it shall be, when seventy years are fulfilled, I will call to account the king of Babylon and that nation, and the land of the Chaldeans, for their iniquity, a statement of Jehovah; and I will make it everlasting ruins.

Like the young lion, He has left His den; for their land is a waste because of the anger of oppressing ones, and because of the anger of His face.

They shall be brought to Babylon, and they shall be there until the day I visit them, says Jehovah. Then I will bring them up and give them back to this place.

And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son’s son, until the time of his own land comes; also it, and many nations and great kings shall serve him.

For so says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron on the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon. And they shall serve him. And I have given him the beasts of the field also.

For so says Jehovah, When according to My mouth seventy years have been fulfilled for Babylon, I will visit you and confirm My good Word to you, to bring you back to this place.

I looked, and, behold! The fruitful place was a wilderness, and all its cities were broken down before the face of Jehovah, before the anger of His nostrils.

For so Jehovah has said, The whole land shall be a desolation; but it will not be a full ending that I make.

And say to them, So says Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, Behold I will send and take Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, My servant, and will set his throne on these stones that I have hidden. And he shall stretch his pavilion over them.

And Jehovah could not still bear it because of the evil of your doings, because of the abominations you have done. And your land became a waste, and a horror, and a curse, without one living in it, as this day.

And say to the people of the land, So says the Lord Jehovah to those living in Jerusalem, to the land of Israel: They shall eat their bread with anxiety and drink their water with horror, so that her land may be desolated of her fullness, because of the violence of all those who live in her.

The foot of man shall not pass through it, and the foot of beast shall not pass through it, and you shall not dwell forty years.

And I will stretch out My hand on them and give the land a to be a desolation even more desolate than the desert toward Diblath, in all their dwelling places. And they shall know that I am Jehovah.

in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood by the scrolls the number of the years, which had been a Word of Jehovah to Jeremiah the prophet, that He would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

And I shall make the land desolate, and your enemies who are living in it shall be astonished at it.

But the land shall become a desolation because of those dwelling in it, from the fruit of their doings.

And the Angel of Jehovah answered and said, O Jehovah of Hosts, until when will You not have compassion on Jerusalem, and on the cities of Judah, which You have abhorred these seventy years?

Speak to all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months, even those seventy years, did you truly fast to Me, even to Me?
