And I will give all the wealth of this city, and all its produce, and all its precious things, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah, even I will give them into the hand of their enemies who will plunder them and take them, and bring them to Babylon.

And at the turn of the year, King Nebuchadnezzar sent and brought him to Babylon, with the valuable vessels of the house of Jehovah, and made his kinsman Zedekiah to reign over Judah and Jerusalem.

Behold, days come when all that is in your house, even what your fathers have treasured up until now, shall be borne away to Babylon; nothing shall be left, says Jehovah.

These devastating have come on all barren heights through the wilderness, for the sword of Jehovah devours from one end of the land even to the other end of the land. There is no peace for any flesh.

Your wealth and your treasures I will give for prey, not for price, but for all your sins, even in all your borders.

O My mountain in the field! I will give your wealth, all your treasures, for prey, your high places for sin throughout all your borders.

For the things of shame have eaten up the labor of our fathers from our youth, their flocks and their herds, their sons and their daughters.

Behold, the siege mounds have come to the city, to capture it. And the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword, and the famine, and the plague. And what You have spoken has happened. And, behold, You see it.

In the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth of the month, the city was breached.

And the Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the houses of the people with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.

Ruin on ruin has been called; for the whole land is devastated. Suddenly my tents are devastated, my curtains in a moment.

The oppressive one has spread out his hand on all her desirable things. Indeed, she has seen the nations enter into her holy place, whom You commanded that they not enter into Your assembly.

In the days of her affliction and her wanderings, Jerusalem remembers all her desirable things from previous days in the falling of her people into the hand of the oppressive one, and there is no ally for her. The oppressive ones saw her; they laughed at her annihilation.

The kings of the earth and all those living in the world would not have believed that the oppressive one and the enemy would go into the gates of Jerusalem,

A plot by her prophets is in her midst, like a roaring lion tearing prey. They have devoured souls and they have taken the riches and gems. They multiplied her widows in her midst.

And the Lord gave Jehoiakim, king of Judah, into his hand, with part of the vessels of the house of God, which he bore into the land of Shinar to the house of his god. And he brought the vessels into the treasure house of his god.

Though he is fruitful among brothers, an east wind shall come. The wind of Jehovah comes up from the wilderness, and his spring shall be ashamed, and his fountain shall be dried up. He shall plunder the treasure of all desirable vessels.
