And Jehovah said to me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My soul is not toward this people. Send them from My face; yea, let them go out.

And Abraham started up early in the morning, going to the place where he had stood there before Jehovah.

And Jehovah rejected all the seed of Israel, and afflicted them, and gave them into the hand of the plunderers, until He had cast them out from His presence.

And He said to exterminate them; except Moses His elect had stood before Him in the breach, to turn away His wrath from destroying them.

Moses and Aaron were among His priests, and Samuel was among those who called on His name; they called to Jehovah, and He answered them.

The king’s favor is toward a servant who acts wisely, but his wrath underlies one causing shame.

For so says Jehovah, Behold, I will sling out those living in the land at this time, and I will distress them so that they may be found out.

And you, do not pray for this people; and do not lift up a cry or prayer for them. For I will not hear in the time they cry to Me for their evil.

And Jehovah said to me, Do not pray for good for this people.

I will not hear their cry when they fast; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering I will not be pleased with them. But I will consume them by the sword, and by famine, and by the plague.

So Jehovah says this: If you turn back, even I will bring you back; you shall stand before Me. And if you take the precious from the worthless, you shall be as My mouth. They may turn back to you, but do not turn back to them.

And I will cast you out of this land into a land that you do not know, you and not your fathers. And there you shall serve other gods day and night, where I will not grant you favor.

For so says Jehovah, Do not enter into the house of mourning and do not go to lament and not do moan for them. For I have removed My peace with loving-kindness and compassions from this people, a statement of Jehovah.

Should evil be repaid for good? For they have dug a pit for my soul. Remember, I stood before You to speak good concerning them, to turn Your wrath from them.

Is this man Coniah a despised shattered jar, or a vessel in which is no pleasure? Why are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into the land which they do not know?

therefore, behold! I, even I will utterly forget you and deceive you and cast off you and the city that I gave to you and your fathers, away from My face.

so Jehovah of Hosts, the God of Israel, says this: Jonadab, the son of Rechab, shall not have a man cut off from standing before Me all the days.

For it was because of the anger of Jehovah in Jerusalem and Judah that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon, until Jehovah had cast them out from His face.

For the voice of lament is heard from Zion. How we are devastated! We are greatly ashamed because we have forsaken the land; because they have thrown down our dwellings.

And though these three men were in its midst, Noah, Daniel, and Job, by their righteousness they should deliver only their souls, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.

And I sought among them a man to wall up a wall and stand in the breach before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found none.

All their evil is in Gilgal, for there I hated them. I will drive them out of My house for the evil of their doings, I will not add to love them; all their rulers are revolters.

And Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and he stood before the Angel.

And I prayed to Jehovah, and said, O Lord Jehovah, do not destroy Your people, and Your inheritance whom You have redeemed in Your greatness; whom You have brought out of Egypt with a mighty hand.

For Christ did not enter into the Holy of Holies made by hands, antitypes of the true things, but into Heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf,

My heart was toward the lawgivers of Israel, who freely offered themselves among the people; bless Jehovah!

And all the people said to Samuel, Pray to Jehovah your God for your servants, that we may not die, for we have added this evil to all our sins, to ask a king for ourselves.

Also I, far be it from me from sinning against Jehovah, from ceasing to pray for you. But I will instruct you in the good and the right way.

And Samuel took a milk lamb and offered a whole burnt offering to Jehovah. And Samuel cried to Jehovah for Israel. And Jehovah answered him.
