And Jacob took for himself white rods of a fresh tree, and the almond and plane tree. And he peeled white stripes in them, laying bare the white on the rods.
so shall My Word be, which goes out of My mouth; it shall not return to Me void, but it shall do that which I please, and it shall prosper in that which I sent it to do!
And Jehovah said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs. The good figs are very good, and the bad are very bad, so that they cannot be eaten from their badness.
For I, Jehovah, will speak. The Word which I shall speak shall be done, it shall not be drawn out again. For in your days, O house of rebellion, I will say the Word and will do it, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.
Therefore say to them, So says the Lord Jehovah: Not any of My words will be drawn out any longer. What I have spoken, that Word shall be done, a statement of the Lord Jehovah.
And Jehovah said to me, Amos, what are you seeing? And I said, A plumb line. And the Lord said, Behold, I will set a plumb line in the midst of My people Israel. I will not again pass over him any more.
And He said, Amos, what are you seeing? And I said, A basket of summer fruit. And Jehovah said to me, The end has come on My people Israel; I will not again pass over him any more.
And he said to me, What do you see? And I said, I see, and behold, a lampstand, all of it gold, and a bowl on its top, and its seven lamps on it, and seven spouts which are to the seven lamps on its top;
And it happened on the next day, Moses went into the tabernacle of the testimony, and, behold! The rod of Aaron for the house of Levi had budded, and put forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
