My brothers, do not become many teachers, knowing that we will receive greater judgment.

And in Antioch some among the existing assembly were prophets and teachers: both Barnabas and Simeon, the one being called Niger, and Lucius the Cyrenian, and Manaen, brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

And God placed some in the assembly, firstly, apostles; secondly, prophets; thirdly, teachers; then works of power; then gifts of healing, helps, governings, kinds of languages.

For we all must appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive the things done through the body, according to what he did, whether good or bad.

Out of the same mouth comes forth blessing and cursing. My brothers, it is not fitting for these things to be so.

nor as exercising lordship over the allotment given to you, but becoming examples of the flock.
