For You have broken the yoke of his burden and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of him pressing, as in the day of Midian.

and you shall live by your sword, and you shall serve your brother; and when it shall be that you are restless, you shall break his yoke from your neck.

For the rod of wickedness shall not rest on the lot of the righteous ones; that the righteous ones not put forth their hands to injustice.

So the Lord, Jehovah of Hosts, shall send leanness among his fat ones. And under His glory He will kindle a burning like the burning of fire.

And you forget your Maker, Jehovah, who has stretched out the heavens and founded the earth. And you dread continually, every day, from the fury of the oppressor, since he was ready to destroy. And where is the fury of the one oppressing?

Shake yourself from the dust; rise up! Sit, Jerusalem; free yourself from your neck bands, O captive daughter of Zion.

You shall be established in righteousness; you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; and from terror, for it shall not come near to you.

For every boot of the one trampling is with shaking, and war-garments rolled in blood, even it shall be for burning, fuel for the fire.

For it shall be in that day, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts, I will break his yoke from your neck, and I will burst your bonds. And strangers will not again make him serve;

All who are around him mourn for him, and all who know his name, say, How the strong staff is broken, the beautiful rod!

I am Jehovah your God, who has brought you out from the land of the Egyptians, from being their slaves; and I will break the bars of your yoke, and cause you to stand erect.

And now I will break his yoke from on you and will tear away your bonds.
