Isaiah 62:4

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Not shall be said to you any more, Forsaken; and not your land shall be said to you any more, Desolate. But you shall be called, My Delight is in Her; and your land, Married. For Jehovah delights in you, and your land is married.

For Jehovah takes pleasure in His people; He beautifies the humble with salvation.

As for the holy ones in the earth, they are the great ones; all my delight is in them.

But Zion said, Jehovah forsook me, and, My Lord forgot.

Sing out, barren one who never bore; break out a song and shout, you who never brought forth. For the sons of the desolate one are more than the sons of the married woman, says Jehovah.

Instead of your being forsaken and hated, so that no one passes through, I will set you for everlasting majesty, a joy of generations and generations.

Violence shall not still be heard in your land, or wasting and ruin within your bor- ders; but you shall call your walls, Salvation, and your gates, Praise.

Rejoicing I will rejoice in Jehovah. My soul shall be joyful in my God. For He clothed me with garments of salvation; He put on me the robe of righteousness, even as a bridegroom puts on his head-dress, and as a bride puts on her ornaments.

And they shall call them, The Holy People, the Redeemed of Jehovah. And to you it shall be called, Sought Out, A City Not Forsaken.

And nations shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory. And one calls you a new name which the mouth of Jehovah shall specify.

For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you. And as a bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so your God shall rejoice over you.

And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people. And the voice of weeping and the voice of crying shall no longer be heard in her.

Turn back, O apostate sons, a statement of Jehovah; for I am Lord over you. And I will take you, one from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion.

And I will rejoice over them, to do good to them; and I will truly plant them in this land with all My heart and with all My soul.

And it shall be a name of joy to Me, a praise and a glory to all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do for them. And they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the peace that I do for it.

And they shall say, This land that was desolated has become like the garden of Eden. And the wasted and desolated and torn down cities are fortified and inhabited.

And it shall be in that day, I will answer, says Jehovah. I will answer the heavens, and they shall answer the earth.

And the earth shall answer the grain, and the wine, and the oil; and they shall answer Jezreel.

Jehovah your God is a mighty One in your midst; He will save. He will rejoice over you with joy; He is silent in His love. He rejoices over you with a joyful shout.

And all nations shall call you blessed, for you shall be a land of delight, says Jehovah of Hosts.

The one having the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom, standing and hearing him, rejoices with joy because of the bridegroom’s voice. Then this my joy has been fulfilled.

For I am jealous over you with a jealousy of God. For I have betrothed you to one Man, to present you a pure virgin to Christ.

And Jehovah your God will make you abundant in every work of your hand, in the fruit of your body, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good. For Jehovah will exult as He exulted over your fathers.

Set your way of life without moneyloving, being satisfied with present things; for He has said, “Not I will leave you, not ever! Nor I will not forsake you, not ever!” Deut. 31:6

you who then were “not a people, but now are the people” of God; “who not having received mercy, but now receiving mercy”. Hos. 1:6, 9; 2:1, 23,

And I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having been prepared as a bride, having been adorned for her Husband.
