Awake! Awake! Arm of Jehovah, put on strength. Awake, as in days of old, everlasting generations. Was it not You cutting in pieces Rahab, and piercing the sea monster?

Therefore, say to the sons of Israel, I am Jehovah, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of Egypt, and will deliver you from their slavery. And I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
In that day Jehovah will call to account the sea monster, the darting serpent, with His great and fierce and strong sword; and the fleeing serpent, on the sea monster, the crooked serpent; and He shall slay the monster that is in the sea.
Awake! Awake! Rise up, O Jerusalem, who drank the cup of His fury from the hand of Jehovah; you drank the bowl of the cup of reeling; you fully drained it.
Awake! Awake! Put on your strength, Zion; put on your beautiful robes, O Jerusalem, the holy city. For never again shall uncircumcised and unclean ones come to you.
Jehovah has sworn by His right hand, and by the might of His arm: Surely I will no longer give your grain as food for your enemies; and the sons of an alien shall not drink your new wine for which you have labored.
Speak and say, So says the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, great monster who lies in the midst of his rivers, who has said, My river is mine, and I have made it.
Woe to the one who says to the wood, Awake! To a stone in silence, Rise up, it shall teach! Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, but no breath is in its midst.
You went forth for the salvation of Your people, for the salvation of Your anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked one to bare the foundation to the neck. Selah.
And He shall pass through the sea of distress and strike the waves in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up. And the pride of Assyria shall go down, and the scepter of Egypt shall turn away.

And God said, I will judge the nation to which you will be in bondage.” And, After these things they will come out and will serve Me in this place. Gen. 15:14; Ex. 3:12
Or has God gone forth to take to Himself a nation from the midst of a nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Jehovah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
And the great dragon was cast out, the old serpent, the one being called the devil, even Satan; the one leading astray the whole inhabited earth, was cast into the earth, and his angels were cast down with him.
And Gideon said to Him, Oh my Lord, if Jehovah is with us, then why has all this happened to us? And where are all His wonders which our fathers recounted to us, saying, Did not Jehovah bring us up out of Egypt? And now Jehovah has left us, and has given us into the hands of Midian.
