Isaiah 49:7

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

So says Jehovah, the Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, to the despised of soul, to the hated of the nation, the servant of rulers, Kings shall see and rise up; and rulers shall worship, because of Jehovah who is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel; and He elects You.

May the nations serve you and peoples bow to you; be a ruler to your brothers, and may your mother’s sons bow to you, and cursed be those who curse you, and blessed be those who bless you.

The nobles of peoples gather together, the people of the God of Abraham. For the shields of the earth are God’s; He is greatly lifted up.

Let fat ones be brought out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall run up her hands to God.

You have known My reproach, and My shame, and My dishonor; all vexing Me are all before You.

For Jehovah will have pity on Jacob, and will yet choose among Israel, and set them in their own land. And the alien shall be joined to them; and they shall join themselves to the house of Jacob.

And Jehovah shall be known to Egypt. Egypt shall know Jehovah in that day. And they shall offer sacrifice and offering, and they shall vow a vow to Jehovah, and repay it.

And it shall be in that day, the great rams` horn shall be blown; and those perishing in the land of Assyria and the outcasts in the land of Egypt shall come and shall worship Jehovah in the holy mountain in Jerusalem.

Behold My Servant; I will support Him; My Elect in whom My soul is pleased! I have put My Spirit on Him; He shall bring forth judgment to the nations.

So says Jehovah, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, I am Jehovah your God, teaching you to profit, leading you in the way you should go.

They are created now, and not from then; even before today, but you did not hear them; lest you should say, Behold,, I knew them.

Hear Me, isles, and you peoples from afar, and prick up your ear, Jehovah called Me from the womb; He mentioned My name from My mother’s belly.

And kings shall be supporting you, and their princesses ones nursing you. They shall bow to you, faces down to the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet. And you shall know that I am Jehovah, by whom they who wait for Me shall not be ashamed.

And I will make them eat their own flesh, those who oppress you; and they shall be drunk by their own blood, as with fresh wine. And all flesh shall know that I Jehovah am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

I gave My back to strikers, and My cheeks to pluckers; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting.

So He sprinkles many nations. At Him kings shall shut their mouths; for they will see that which was not told to them; yea, what they had not heard, they will understand.

He is despised and abandoned of men, a Man of pains, and known of sickness, and as hiding our faces from Him, He being despised, and we did not value Him.

And the sons of the foreigner shall build your walls; and their kings shall serve you. For I struck you in My wrath, but I pitied you in My favor.

You shall also suck the milk of nations, and you shall suck the breast of kings. And you shall know that I, Jehovah, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.

And nations shall walk to Your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawning.

And it will be, from new moon to its new moon, and from sabbath to its sabbath, all flesh shall come to worship before Me, says Jehovah.

And I cut off three shepherds in one month. And My soul was straightened with them, and their soul also abhorred Me.

Even as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.

Then they spat in His face, and beat Him with the fist, and some slapped Him,

For who is greater, the one reclining, or the one serving? Is it not the one reclining? But I am in your midst as One serving.

And they all together cried out, saying, Take this One, and release to us Barabbas

But with loud voices they were urgent, asking for Him to be crucified. And their voices, and that of the chief priests, prevailed.

And the people stood watching. And the rulers with them also scoffed, saying, He saved others; let Him save Himself, if this One is the Christ, the Elect of God.

Then all cried out again, saying, Not this one, but Barabbas! But Barabbas was a plunderer.

But they cried out, Away, Away! Crucify Him! Pilate said to them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We do not have a king except Caesar.

Therefore when the chief priests and the under-officers saw Him, they cried out, saying, Crucify! Crucify! Pilate says to them, You take Him and crucify Him, for I find not even one cause of death in Him!

God is faithful, through whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.

And know that Jehovah your God, He is God, the faithful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to those who love Him, and to those who keep His commands, to a thousand generations;

to whom having drawn near, a living Stone, indeed having been rejected by men, but chosen by God, precious;

And the seventh angel sounded his trumpet. And there were great voices in Heaven, saying, The kingdoms of the world became our Lord’s, even of His Christ; and He shall reign to the ages of the ages.

And to the angel of the assembly in Philadelphia, write: These things says the Holy One, the True One, the One having “the key of David”, “the One opening, and no one shuts; and shuts, and no one opens”: Isa. 22:22
