But He shall judge the poor ones in righteousness, and shall decide with uprightness for the humble ones of the earth. And He shall strike the earth with the rod of His mouth, and He shall cause the wicked one to die with the breath of His lip.
Who among you fears Jehovah, obeying the voice of His Servant, who walks in darkness, and no light is in Him? Let Him trust in the name of Jehovah, and lean on His God.
The Lord Jehovah has given to Me the tongue of learned ones, to know to help the weary with a word. He arouses in the morning; He wakens the ear to Me, to hear as the learned ones.
And I have put My words in Your mouth, and covered you in the shade of My hand, to plant the heavens and found the earth, and to say to Zion, You are My people.
For, behold, today I have given you as a fortified city, and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against her rulers, against her priests, and to the people of the land.
On account of this I have cut them down by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth; and your judgments have been as the light that goes forth.
Also, take “the helmet of salvation,” and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God; Isa. 59:17 LXX-Isa. 11:4; MT-Isa. 49:2; LXX and MT-Hos. 6:5
For the Word of God is living, and working effectively, and sharper than every two-mouthed sword, and piercing as far as the division of both soul and spirit, of both joints and marrows, and able to judge of the thoughts and intentions of the heart;
And out of His mouth goes forth a sharp sword, that with it He might smite the nations. And He will shepherd them with an iron rod. And He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger and of the wrath of God Almighty.
