Isaiah 48:20

King James 3 - The Literal Traslation

Go out of Babylon; flee from the Chaldeans. Declare this with the voice of rejoicing; let this be heard, let it go out to the end of the earth; say, Jehovah has redeemed His servant Jacob.

And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation in the earth that God went to redeem to be a people for Himself, and to make Himself a name, and to do for You great and fearful things for Your land, before Your people which You redeemed to You from Egypt, from nations and their gods?

and these are the sons of the province who went up out of the captivity, of those who had been exiled, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had exiled to Babylon. And they came again to Jerusalem and Judah, each man to his own city,

A Song of Ascents. When Jehovah turned back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream.

And in that day you shall say, O Jehovah, I will thank You. Though You were angry with me, turn back Your anger and You shall comfort me.

And in that day you shall say, Thank Jehovah! Call on His name; declare His doings among the peoples; make mention that His name is exalted.

They lift up their voice; they sing for the majesty of Jehovah; they cry aloud from the sea.

In that day this song shall be sung in the land of Judah: A strong city to us; He sets up salvation as our walls and rampart.

Sing a new song to Jehovah; His praise from the end of the earth, you who go to sea, and all that is in it; the isles and those living in them

But now so says Jehovah who created you, O Jacob; and He who formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I called you by your name; you are to Me.

I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud; and your sins like a cloud. Turn back to Me, for I have redeemed you.

You heard; see it all, and will you not declare? I made you hear new things from now, even hidden things, and you did not know them.

Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; break out into singing, O mountains. For Jehovah has comforted His people and will have pity on His afflicted ones.

And He said, It is but trifling that You should be My servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the ones preserved of Israel; I will also give You for a light of the nations, that You may be My salvation to the end of the earth.

Bowed down, he hurries to be loosed, that he not die in the pit, and not that he lack his bread.

Jehovah has bared His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.

Turn aside! Turn aside! Go out from there! Touch not the unclean thing! Go out of the middle of her, purify yourselves, those bearing the vessels of Jehovah.

Break out, sing together, waste places of Jerusalem; for Jehovah comforts His people; He has redeemed Jerusalem.

Behold, Jehovah has made it to be heard to the end of the earth; Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold! Your salvation comes! Behold! His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.

In all their affliction, He was not a foe; and the Angel of His Presence saved them. In His love and in His pity He redeemed them. And He bore them up, and He lifted them up all the days of old.

Hear the Word of Jehovah, O nations, and declare in the isles from far away, and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him and keep him, as a shepherd feeding his flock.

For Jehovah has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of the one stronger than he.

Set up road marks for yourself; make sign posts for yourself. Set your heart toward the highway, even the way you went. Turn back, O virgin of Israel; turn back to these cities of yours.

Declare among the nations, and make them hear, and lift up a banner. Make them hear, do not hide it; say, Babylon is captured, Bel is put to shame, Merodach is broken in pieces, her images are put to shame, her idols are broken in pieces.

The voice of those who flee and escape out of the land of Babylon to declare in Zion the vengeance of Jehovah our God, the vengeance of His temple.

Flee from the midst of Babylon, and go out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he-goats before the flocks.

My people, go out of her midst, and each man deliver his soul from the burning anger of Jehovah.

Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall shout for Babylon. For the plunderers shall come to her from the north, a statement of Jehovah.

Flee from the midst of Babylon; yea, each man deliver his soul. Do not be silenced in her iniquity. For it is the time of the vengeance of Jehovah. He will complete a recompense to her.

I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. And they will increase as they were increased.

Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion. For, behold, I come; and I will dwell in your midst, says Jehovah.

If you are cast out to the end of the heavens, Jehovah your God shall gather you from there, and He shall take you from there.

Rejoice over her, Heaven, and the holy apostles, and the prophets, because God judged your judgment on her.

And I heard another voice out of Heaven saying, My people, come out of her, that you may not share in her sins, and that you may not receive of her plagues;
