So says Cyrus king of Persia, Jehovah God of Heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. And He has commanded me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah.
You alone are He, O Jehovah; You have made the heavens, and heaven of the heavens, and all their host; the earth and all which is on it; the seas, and all that is in them; and You shall preserve them all alive. And the host of the heavens bows down to You.
O Jehovah of Hosts, God of Israel, who dwells between the cherubs, You are He, God, You alone to all the kingdoms of the earth. You have made the heavens and the earth.
He who has measured in the palm of His hand the waters and the heavens by a span meted out; and enclosed in the measure the dust of the earth, and weighed in the balance the mountains, and the hills in the scales,
He abiding over the circle of the earth sees and ones living in it are like grasshoppers; He who stretches the heavens like a curtain, and spreads them like a tent to live in;
Lift up your eyes on high and see: Who has created these? Who brings out their host by number? By greatness of vigor, and mighty of power, He calls them all by names; not one is lacking.
Have you not known? Have you not heard? Jehovah, the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth; He is not faint, nor does He grow weary; there is no searching to His understanding.
So says Jehovah God, creating the heavens and stretching them out; spreading out the earth and its produce, giving breath to the people on it, and spirit to those walking in it.
So says Jehovah, your Redeemer and the One forming you from the womb; I am Jehovah who makes all things; stretching out the heavens, I alone spreading out the earth. Who was with Me,
For so says Jehovah, the One creating the heavens; He is God, forming the earth and making it; He makes it stand, not creating it empty, but forming it to be lived in. I am Jehovah, and there is not one besides.
And you forget your Maker, Jehovah, who has stretched out the heavens and founded the earth. And you dread continually, every day, from the fury of the oppressor, since he was ready to destroy. And where is the fury of the one oppressing?
I have made the earth, the man, and the animals on the face of the earth by My great power and by My outstretched arm; and I have given it to whom it seemed right in My eyes.
The burden of the Word of Jehovah for Israel, a statement of Jehovah, who stretches forth the heavens, and founds the earth, and who forms the spirit of man within him.
For ask now of the days past which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and from the one end of the heavens to the other end of the heavens, whether there has been a thing as great as this, or has anything like it been heard.
By faith we understand the ages to have been framed by a Word of God, so that the things being visible should not come into being out of things being seen.
