Who is a blind one but My servant? Or a deaf one, as My messenger whom I send? Who is a blind one as he who is at peace, and is a blind one as Jehovah’s servant?

For My people are foolish. They do not know Me. They are stupid children, and they have no understanding. They are wise to do evil, but they do not know to do good.

Now hear this, O foolish people, and not with a heart, eyes are to them, but do not see, ears are to them, but they do not hear.

Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house. They have eyes to see, but they do not see; ears are to them to hear, but they do not hear; for they are a rebellious house.

Because of this, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand.

“He has blinded their eyes” and “has hardened their heart,” “that they might not see with the eyes” and “understand with the heart,” “and turn back,” “and I should heal them.” Isa. 6:10

And Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment, that the ones who do not see may see, and the ones seeing may become blind.

Jesus said to them, If you were blind, you would have no sin. But now you say, We see; therefore, your sin remains.

For I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you may not be wise among yourselves, that hardness in part has happened to Israel until the fulfilling of the nations comes in;

in whom the god of this age has blinded the thoughts of the faithless ones, so that the illumination of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should not shine on them.
