Do not listen to Hezekiah. For the king of Assyria says this, Make with me a blessing and come out to me. Then let each man eat of his own vine, and each man of his own fig tree, and each man drink the waters of his own well,

Please take my blessing which has been brought to you, because God has favored me, and because I have all things. And he urged him; and he accepted.

And David put garrisons in Syria of Damascus. And the Syrians became servants to David, bearing a gift. And Jehovah saved David in all places in which he went.

And he went back to the man of God, he and all his company, and came in and stood before him, and said, Behold, now I know that there is not a God in all the earth except in Israel. And now, please take a blessing from your servant.

The one keeping the fig tree eats its fruit, and the one guarding his master is honored.

Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well.

until I come and take you to a land like your own land, a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards.

But they shall each man sit under his vine and under his fig tree, and there shall be no trembling; for the mouth of Jehovah of Hosts has spoken.

In that day, a statement of Jehovah of Hosts, you shall call each man to his friend to sit under the vine and under the fig tree.

Therefore, I thought it necessary to exhort the brothers, that they go forward to you and arrange beforehand your promised blessing, this to be ready, thus as a blessing and not as by greediness.

And the elders of Jabesh said to him, Slack off from us seven days, and we will send messengers in all the boundary of Israel. And if there is no deliverer for us, then we will come out to you.

And now this blessing which your handmaid has brought to my lord, even let it be given to the young men who walk at the feet of my lord.
